Synopsis:
Clark Kent joins Mr. and Mrs. Lang on an African expedition. They seek to collect several rare animal specimens. Basil Jennings, a man seeking revenge against Mr. Lang, sabotages Lang's attempts to capture the rare animals. Working in secret, Superboy helps Mr. Lang and uses Jennings's own tricks against him.

The Langs return home with the animals, but Lana thinks she has final proof that Clark is Superboy. She claims that his lack of sunburn proves that he is invulnerable. Clark is able to escape the trap by pretending to have used sunblock instead of insect repellent.
