Synopsis:
Clark Kent receives a letter from Tara Madras, his pen pal from India. Tara asks for Superboy's help to save his friend Panaki who is scheduled to be executed. Superboy flies to India where he learns that Panaki is an elephant. The elephant proves gentle but has been incited to violence by the village headman Ajuna. The headman hoped to get the elephant to lead him to a valuable elephant graveyard. Superboy exposes Ajuna's plan, and the elephant is spared.
