Synopsis:
Former philanthropist Jack Pendleton stages a contest for four boy prodigies. Pendleton is really working with racketeers in an attempt to expose Superboy's secret identity. The crooks believe that one of the boys is Superboy, so they stage accidents. In each case Superboy rescues the boy in trouble.

Through their efforts, the crooks become convinced that John Crandall is Superboy. Pendleton watches Crandall while the others committ a robbery. Superboy arrives to stop them. He then reveals that he replaced Crandall in order to fool the crooks.
