Synopsis:
Luthor invents a machine to give himself super powers. However, his dog gets in the way and receives the powers instead. Luthor trains his dog to impersonate Krypto and cause trouble. The town soon becomes angry at Krypto, so when the real dog shows up he is shunned.

Krypto catches on to the scheme and leads the polce to Luthor’s house where they see what has really taken place. The two dogs do battle, but Luthor removes Krypto’s powers with his machine.

Without powers, Krypto uses Kryptonite against Destructo, forcing Luthor to return Krypto’s powers. When Superboy returns from a space mission, he uses the machine to remove Destructo’s powers, and turns Luthor in to the reformatory.
