Synopsis:
Mxyzptlk returns to plague Superman in an attempt to win the Brxll award for practical jokes from his home dimension. To prevent Superman from tricking him into saying his name backwards, the imp stays underwater where he cannot speak. Then he proceeds to play magical pranks on Metropolis. First he has planes make water landings and ships land on airstrips, then he causes the adults of Metropolis to act like children, finally he causes animals to speak.
Superman tries to stop the imp, but Mxyzptlk’s plan to remain underwater prevents the Man of Steel from succeeding. Finally Superman gives up and goes to the moon. Mxyzptlk follows him. Since there is no air, the imp cannot speak, but Superman creates an air pocket and tricks Mxyzptlk into returning home for another 90 days.
