Synopsis:
Lois is assigned to write a story on the Gratz Bakery for a housewives column. Lois is upset that she has not been given real news to report on, but when she arrives at the bakery she witnesses crooks inside. Lois learns the crooks are responsible for the recent lottery ring, disguising lottery slips inside fake loaves of bread. Lois causes a commotion which attracts the police, who shut down the ring. Lois then returns to the Daily Planet with a real news story.
