Synopsis:
Grodd has created a special pill that will allow his mind to leave his body. Once free, his mind will inhabit that of another being. When Grodd takes the pill his body dies, Solovar reports Grodd’s death to the Flash.
Grodd’s mind takes over the body of William Dawson. Dawson takes a job as an animal trainer in a sideshow. He begins training the chimps in the show to commit robberies. Flash intervenes and catches the chimps.
While searching for Dawson, Flash is struck by a special ray that Dawson has designed. The ray causes Flash’s body to absorb moisture, making he balloon to extreme size. Then Dawson gives the Flash amnesia.
Dawson uses the deformed Flash as a sideshow attraction. A funhouse mirror reminds Flash of his old form and restores his memory. Flash restores himself to his old form and then captures Dawson. Dawson is sent to prison, but his Grodd identity is not revealed.
