Synopsis:
A group of Mercurian renegades send an agent to Earth disguised as a human. His mission is to lure Mark Merlin to a particular spot in Africa where a lethal weapon will kill him. While taking Mark to the location under the pretense of leading him to a mysterious tree growing bubbles instead of fruit, the alien is confronted by a lion. Mark saves the man's life, which leads the alien to reveal his true plan. He then helps Mark thwart an invasion. The aliens sought to eliminate Mark because he had accidentally stumbled upon the weakness of their attack ships, common table salt.
