Challenge of the Gods Book Two

This story is continued from Wonder Woman #10 and continues in Wonder Woman #12.

Synopsis:
Wonder Woman continues her challenge placed upon her by the Olympian Gods. She fights and defeats the Hydra, but is knocked unconscious while retrieving her magic lasso. When she recovers, Wonder Woman moves on to face Echidna, a sepent woman.

After achieving victory, Wonder Woman dives into a pool of liquid light. Poseidon then shows her a plane similar to that of Steve Trevor which crashed into the ocean. She is then transported to dry land where the plane now rests. As she examines the plane a figure clad in red, white, and blue approaches. The figure is the warrior Diana, for whom Wonder Woman was named.

While Wonder Woman is completing her challenges, a vulture approaches Hippolyte. The Queen of the Amazons receives a message and goes after her daughter. Fearing the Gods will be angry, the other Amazons including Philippus try to stop her. Hippolyte fights and defeats Philippus, then prepares to enter the doorway through which Diana has passed.
