Synopsis:
Jimmy visits Scotland Yard and temporarily becomes a bobby. He summons Superman with his signal watch during emergencies, but the Man of Steel does not arrive. The police tell Jimmy to leave the country, but he sees the Purple Pimpernel, the crook behind several crimes, at the airport. This time Superman arrives when signalled. Jimmy figured that the mechanism in his watch was damaged when he adjusted it to London time. The crook is apprehended, and Jimmy is a hero.
