Comments:
This story is a Superbaby story and depicts Superbaby's arrival on Earth.
Synopsis:
When Kal-El's rocket crashes on Earth, he is found by Jonathan and Martha Kent. They discover his super powers and wish to adopt him legally, so they leave him at the orphange. Before they can return, Superbaby is adopted by two criminals who plan to use him in a kidnapping scam.
Superbaby resembles Sonny Vanderbolt, so the criminal couple takes him to the Snatch Syndicate. The Kents follow and try to prevent Kal-El from revealing his super powers to the crooks. When the Syndicate learns that Superbaby is not the real Vanderbolt baby, they turn on his foster parents. Jonathan summons the police, and all the crooks are apprehended.
Superbaby returns to the orphange, where the Kents successfully adopt him. Martha names him Clark which is her maiden name.
