Synopsis:
Gangster Knuckles Conger decides that in order to be a successful criminal, he will try to use Batman's idea of having a kid partner. Knuckles recruits an orphan named Bobby Deen. He trains the boy in fighting and gymnastics, then tricks him into committing crimes. When Batman and Robin catch up to the pair, Conger claims that they are imposters. Robin is wounded in the fight, and Bobby realizes the truth. He then helps protect Robin. Batman then captures Conger. Bobby is forgiven for his involvment with Conger, and Batman sends the boy to a expensive military academy.
