Synopsis:
Batman and Robin decide to bring Christmas cheer to the loneliest men in Gotham City. Before they leave they visit Commissioner Gordon, who is releasing gangster Dirk Dagner due to lack of evidence. Dagner overhears Batman's plans and makes some of his own.
Batman visits Ben Botts, the doorman at a swanky club. Batman invites him in to a party and his boss gives him a raise. Dagner shows up to rob the party guests. Botts lends an assist to Batman and Robin, but the crooks escape.
Next Batman drops in on humorist Link Chesney. Chesney feels that his fans forget him and is lonely. Dagner again drops in and captures both Dagner and Batman. He leaves them in a deathtrap, then leaves for another robbery. Batman escapes the trap, then arranges a phone call for Chesney and his fans.
Batman leaves for a lighthouse where Dagner has gone. The crook has shut off the light, so a cargo ship will crash on the rocks. Batman arrives in time to stop Dagner and save the ship. He then brings good cheer to the lighthouse keeper Tom Wicks.
