Synopsis:
Johnny becomes a vacuum cleaner salesman and begins going door-to-door selling his product. After ruining a woman's living room with his demonstration, Johnny leaves the house followed by the woman's daughter Miranda.

Miranda never returns home, and the woman receives a ransom demand. She suspects Johnny is the kidnapper and has him arrested. Johnny's Thunderbolt helps him escape from jail. He then finds the girl who staged her own kidnapping because she is a spoiled brat and wanted money from her parents. Johnny is cleared of wrongdoing, but a newspaper photo of Miranda and him gets him in trouble with Daisy.
