Synopsis:
Earth is plagued by several types of giant super-powered insects. Even Superman cannot match their power or find a way to defeat them. He does find an alien probe. When he enters the probe, he is taken to a giant world with a giant red sun. Superman loses his powers and is weakened further by the terrific gravity of this world where the insects originated. He meets three aliens from a dead world, who are using the insects the carry out the destruction of 100 worlds. Earth is the last one, so they detonate the giant world. Superman barely escapes in time. When he returns to Earth in the probe, he brings with him chunks of the destroyed planet. The radiation from the pieces is deadly to the insects which plague Earth. When enough of the material enters Earth's atmosphere, all the insects die off.
