This story continues in the third story of Adventure Comics #427.

A caption places this story as taking place in 1850. However, historical events in Haiti as well as the second story of Unknown Soldier #254 establish the adventures of Captain Fear in the 18th Century rather than the 19th. Therefore the date given in this issue should be ignored.

Synopsis:
In the jungles of Indo-China, Captain Fear witnesses the followers of Thu about to sacrifice a white woman to their god. Captain Fear rescues her, hoping to earn a reward for her return. The pair are chased through the jungle by the zealots. They eventually make it back to Captain Fear's ship. With the help of his crew, the Carib pirate defeats the worshippers of Thu. The girl then pulls a gun on Fear, to force him to return her to her father without a reward.
