When the car is gone, the crooks are unable to getaway.
Crusty and Clark receive a reward from the bank. However, the bank manager Mr. Cullis is an embezzler. Cullis tries to use Crusty to cover up his own crimes. He convinces the teen to plant a bomb under the bank. Superboy stops the bomb and saves Crusty's life. Cullis is apprehended. Crusty promises to go straight, then he joins his father in Alaska.
