Synopsis:
Faustus Coven is the head of a family of former witches. Most have lost their magic over the years. Faustus gathers the family and together they use their remaining power, amplified by technology, to separate Superboy's spirit from his body. Superboy's body is left confused and weak, while his spirit falls under the direct control of Asmo, the nephew of Faustus.

At first Asmo uses the spirit Superboy for inconsequential desires. Superboy remains immaterial while in spirit form, but his powers manifest in the form of psychokinesis. Eventually, Asmo regrets his actions and wants to return Superboy's spirit to his body. Faustus is furious and wants the power for himself. Superboy is able to trick him by rewiring a compute to make the wizard think it is sentient. The trick succeeds in allowing the Boy of Steel to reintegrated his spirit and body. Faustus dies when he triggers the self-destruct on his own machine.
