Synopsis:
A lightning bolt in Rome destroys a temple and awakens the sleeping god of theives, Mercury. Mercury flies to America, surrounding himself with a criminal gang. The god’s exploits draw the attention of Superman, who clips Mercury’s wings, disabling him. Superman then convinces Mercury to help round up the crooks, then retire for another thousand years.
