Synopsis:
Lois attends the reception of the Norton-Van Ness wedding. A pendant, one of the gifts, is stolen during a power outage. Lois finds the bride's father Mr. Norton with the pendant. It was his gift, so he wasn't really stealing. He intended to sell it temporarily in order to cash in on a business deal, then return the pendant.

Lois discovers that the pendant is a fake. She locates the real thieves, the butler and chauffeur. Lois apprehends them and retrieves the pendant. Norton's new son-in-law loans him the money he needs, and Lois keeps his involvement out of the newspaper.
