Synopsis:
When a series of robberies involve items from famous historical crimes Batman suspects Professor Ezra Dorn, a crime historian who collects rare items used in past crimes. Dorn has been missing since before the first robbery. Batman sets a trap for the crook at a society party, but the thief escapes. When the Rossetti Ruby is put on display, Batman is on hand to guard it. Batman also discovers that the real thief is Simmons, Dorn's secretary. He finds the real historian held prisoner, then captures Simmons when he tries to steal the ruby.
