Comments:
This story, which takes place in Spring 1748, is continued from the second story of Unknown Soldier #255.

Synopsis:
Captain Fear meets Governor Luis Castaleone to exchange a document for gold. Castaleone tries to double-cross the pirate, but the Japanese ninja intrudes upon the meeting and saves Fear's life. A battle then ensues, and the ninja is killed. Captain Fear kills Castaleone and gets away with the gold. In payment to the assassin, though he is dead, Captain Fear returns the document he was trying to protect, and it burns with the governor's ship.
