Synopsis:
A time machine appears in Metropolis containing Jonathan and Martha Kent. They have come to visit their son in the future. Superman gives them a tour of his Fortress of Solitude and introduces them to Lois Lane. The Kents explain that they must return in the time machine. They take some kryptonite with them because the scientist who created the time machine believes he can create an antidote.
After Superman bids farewell to his Earth parents, he realizes that it was all a scam. The time machine was fake, and the Kents were really crooks who now extort money from Superman, or they will reveal his identity. Superman constructs two robots which he uses to hypnotize the crooks into forgetting the entire experience including his secret identity.
