Synopsis:
Charles McNider is summoned to the home of Judson, an architect who designs oddly shaped buildings. He tells McNider about a series of robberies that have targeted his buildings. Before he can tell the detective who the crook is, Judson is shot.

McNider dons his Dr. Mid-Nite costume and goes after the shooter named Gloves. However, Mid-Nite is captured and locked in a sweatbox. He is able to escape quickly and follows the gang to a hotel shaped like a boot where the next robbery is about to occur. This time Doctor Mid-Nite wins his fight with the crooks. Gloves turns out to be Judson's former assistant who used his knowledge of the building designs to aid in the robberies.
