Synopsis:
After a childhood of abuse, a boy nicknamed Hobbly grows to become a beggar as an adult. He dreams of having power, so he sets himself up as the Beggar King and forces the other beggars to work for him. One such beggar is Gido Cassini, a talented musician with an injured hand. When Dr. McNider offers to help Gido, the Beggar King punishes his subject. Dr. Mid-Nite investigates and, after a scuffle, gets the Beggar King to turn his life around. Dr. Mid-Nite then operates on Gido's hand, restoring it to full function which allows the musician to perform at a concert hall.
