Synopsis:
When Myra Mason refuses the proposal of her boyfriend Gus Dempster, she explains that she feels obligated to Dr. McNider. Gus wants McNider out of the way, so he hires two gangsters to frame McNider for the theft of an experimental serum which cures blindness. Hooty sees the crooks plant the evidence and warns McNider. Dr. Mid-Nite then tracks down the crooks.

Dempster reconsiders his actions which starts a fight with the crooks. They blind him. When Dr. Mid-Nite arrives he uses the serum to cure Dempster, then apprehends the gangsters. Dempster realizes the error of his ways and joins the Merchant Marines.
