Synopsis:
Doctor Bedlam, a force of extreme mental will, arrive on Earth from Apokolips by possessing the body of an automaton called an Animate. Bedlam then telephones Scott Free to offer a challenge. After explaining the danger to Oberon, Mister Miracle meets Bedlam atop Chandler Towers. The villain offers Miracle a chance to surrender, but he offer is refused. Bedlam then floods the building with gas created from a paranoid pill which turns thousands of people in the building into maniacs. Mister Miracle must then reach the lobby and exit the building to escape. However, the workers in the building capture him, lock him in a trunk, then throw the trunk down an open stairwell.
