Synopsis:
When actor Peter Lorloff dies his will declares that his money be given to the most heroic person during the week of his death. Lawyer Jonathan Trundle is appointed as executor of the will. Lorloff's relatives Stella and Felix plan to contest it.

When the terms of the will are made public, several dangerous incidents are staged by individuals hoping to be declared heroes. Superman prevents harm and offers to help Trundle. When Stella and Felix act against Trundle, Carol, Lorloff's niece, tips off Clark Kent. Superman saves Trundle, who in turn saves Carol.

When the week is over, Stella presents her case to the judge. Superman claims that Trundle was the real hero when he acted to save Carol. The judge agrees and Trundle himself is awarded the inheritance. He then asks Carol to marry him.
