Synopsis:
Millionaire racketeer Leffingwell Funk plans to take revenge upon Jim Sewell, an honest shoe store owner who once beat Funk in business. Funk's plan is to send Sewell a large inheritance from a phony relative. After Sewell spends the money, Funk will produce the real heir, leaving Sewell to be charged with fraud.

Funk's plan seems to be working, but the Flash intervenes and stops Sewell from spending the money frivilously. Funk sends gangsters to ruin Sewell, but Flash stops them as well.

When the real heir comes forward, Flash kidnaps him and keeps him from filing a case with the police. The heir turns out to be Jim's cousin. Funk's plan is then exposed. Flash turns the crooks over to police, and Jim gives the inheritance money to charity.
