Synopsis:
Stretch Skinner returns to his hometown of Corn Corners. He discovers that his rival Homer Heifer is now engaged to his old girlfriend Tulip. Stretch is disappointed that the town is not welcoming him home. He decides to earn their respect by solving a case involving a murdered cow.

Stretch and Wildcat are soon attacked by a group of city thugs. They are unable to pursue the crooks, then Stretch himself becomes a suspect in the cow murders. Wildcat continues the investigation and uncovers a smuggling operation. After apprehending the crooks, he also gets the sheriff to confess his involvement. Stretch then celebrates his return with Tulip.
