Synopsis:
While purchasing a new tail-light for his bicycle, Tubby bumps into a cop in the dime store. A short time later a man offers Tubby ten dollars for his new light. Suspicious, Tubby and the other boys return to the store where they see pickpocket Finger Fogarty. However, the store owner vouches for Fingers, forcing the boys to leave the store.

That night the boys return in costume where they witness a meeting between the store owner and Fogarty. The store is being used as a dumping ground for stolen goods. Tubby's tail-light was really a valuable gem. The boys start a fight which brings police. The gang is then captured.
