Synopsis:
Dr. Mid-Nite sees a strange beacon of light on the side of a mountain. A plane follows the beacon as a guide and crashes into the mountain. Crooks then rush toward the plane intent on stealing its cargo. Dr. Mid-Nite heads them off, then questions the injured pilot. He learns that the next plane will be carrying a shipment of gold.

Dr. Mid-Nite boards the plane carrying the gold. he tries to convince the pilot to ignore the phony beacon, but he is believed to be an outlaw. Dr. Mid-Nite knocks out the pilot, then guides the plane to a safe landing. He then apprehends the crooks who intended to steal the gold.
