Synopsis:
Mary James contacts the Atom. She explains that she caught Mr. Connelly, the Calvin College janitor, stealing money to pay for his son's gambling debts. Mary convinces Connelly to return the money. She then asks the Atom to catch the gamblers. He agrees. Despite the Atom's warning to stay away, Mary wants to watch the fight and is captured. The Atom rescues her and leaves the crooks for the police with evidence of their crimes. Mary then tells Connelly that his son is safe.
