Synopsis:
Near the city of Shamballah, a meteor fragment crashes to the ground. Mariah investigates the fragment which has landed in a place of forbidden magic. The stone opens a portal which pulls Mariah inside. She travels back in time to the Age of Wizard and Sorcerer Kings.

When she arrives, Mariah meets Mongo Ironhand, a dwarf sorcerer who had been attempting to summon a three-headed dog. He thinks she is a demon, but Mariah explains that she is from Skartaris. Mongo demonstrates the he possesses knowledge of the distant future.

Back in Skartaris, Machiste decides to follow Mariah through the portal. Tara stays behind and watches the portal close as Machiste enters. Machiste is reunited with Mariah in the past. They then witness the arrival of the three-headed dog which Mongo had been trying to summon.
