Synopsis:
Dinah Drake receives an order for a rare black orchid at her flower shop. The caller claims to be Black Canary. After the order has been placed, Dinah investigates to learn who is impersonating her. When she arrives at the home of Andrew Masters, where the orchid was to be delivered, she finds the millionaire dead. His staff claims that she is responsible for his death.

Black Canary escapes from the security guards and continues o investigate. She learns that Masters changed his will to make Black Canary his heir. He did so after his life was saved by the heroine. However, Black Canary had never met Masters, so she visits the location where the supposed rescue took place. There, she finds her impersonator, really Masters' niece. Miss Masters set Black Canary up, so that she could inherit her uncle's fortune. The real Black Canary defeats the imposter and forces her to confess as the murderer.
