The Day of the Krypton Man Part III

Synopsis:
Maxima arrives on Earth. She draws the attention of Superman when she removes Sazu from a detention facility. Maxima comes from a race of warlords which uses selective breeding to ensure their bloodline remains strong. Maxima observed Superman's fight with Draaga on Warworld. She now intends to make Superman her mate, but he rejects her as unworthy of him.

Enraged, Maxima fights Superman. During a moment in the battle when she has the upper hand, she probes Superman's mind and senses the intrusion of the Eradicator which has been making Superman cold and heartless. She rejects him based on her discovery. However, the probe further unlocks the Krypton Man persona which has been slowly taking over the Man of Steel. Superman then subdues Maxima. After her capture, the State Department ensures her release as she is considered a visiting head of state.
