Comments:
This story contains a flashback scene which takes place concurrently with Invasion #3.

Synopsis:
After having dinner with his sister and friends, Will Payton learns that S.T.A.R. Labs is under attack. Starman heads to S.T.A.R. where he finds Rampage battling a masked man. Starman does not know that Rampage is really his friend Karen Faulkner, so he attacks her. In the confusion, the masked man reveals himself as the Parasite and drains Faulkner of her power. Parasite then battles Starman. Faulkner tells Starman how to overload the Parasite, which he does. The Parasite melts down and is defeated.
