Synopsis:
With the help of Walter Reilly, Ronnie and his family secure a position for Martin Stein at Vandermeer University as a research subject. Ronnie is then called away when Martin forms Firestorm in Las Vegas. When the fusion is complete, Firestorm faces Brimstone whom Darkseid has recently recreated.

Back at S.T.A.R. Labs, Lorraine Reilly watches the news of Firestorm's battle with Brimstone. She knows how to defeat the creature, so she becomes Firehawk and races across the country to help. Exhausted by the trip, she tells Firestorm to strike at a device located in the center of Brimstone. Firestorm flies through the creature, grabs the devices, and carries it into space. When Brimstone has been defeated, Firestorm kisses Firehawk.
