Synopsis:
Three members of the New Guardians have been exposed to the AIDS virus as a result of their battle with the Hemo-Goblin. While they each test negative for HIV, they can only wait to see if they are truly infected. The team wants to go to South Africa to seek revenge against Kroef, who sent the Hemo-Goblin. They are prevented from leaving the country by the CIA.
The CIA makes a deal with the team to investigate Kroef. In exchange, the New Guardians are dispatched to Columbia to fight a drug lord named Snowflame who gains super powers from the use of cocaine. The team is nearly killed, then rallies to defeat Snowflame and his followers.
