Synopsis:
Inventor Dr. Sight creates a machine that can make mirages. His machine is dismissed by other scientists and businessmen. When a crook tries to rob the inventor, Dr. Sight gets an idea. He teams up with the bandit for a series of crimes.

Using the mirage machine, Dr. Sight creates several illusions near banks. During the confusion his accomplice is able to rob the banks, using special goggles to protect him from the mirage effects. Zatara traces the crook back to Dr. Sight. He then uses his magic to defeat the scientist, as his magic proves to be stronger than Dr. Sight's mirages.
