Synopsis:
Wesley Dodds witnesses a man die in the street. He learns the man is the second assistant of Doctor Lovejoy to die in a week. Suspicious, Wes investigates as the Sandman. The Sandman meets the doctor who explains that he has invented a cure for the common cold. The crooks want the formula to use for profit. The crooks then kidnap the doctor. Sandman rescues Lovejoy and turns the gang over to police.
