Synopsis:
Disembodied hands attempt to steal rare and valuable objects from a collector and the museum, but are unable to transport these into the limbo they emerged from. Then a vehicle appears which can magnetize people, and bandits emerge to loot the art museum. The thieves are from the 120th century, using a forbidden time-travel vehicle to steal from the past, but due to damaged equipment, they are only able to make one more time trip to the same place and time.
From their initial encounter, Hawkman and Hawkgirl determine the chemical treatment used on the bandits' uniforms which protects them from their own magnetizer, and spray themselves with it, enabling them to maneuver enough to spray the time vehicle with ordinary, present-day paint. Thus saddled with matter from the present which they cannot transport through time, the loot, the truck, and the robbers are stranded in the present.
