Synopsis:
The Daily Planet honors four of Metrolpolis's finest citizens with feature stories. Clark and Lois find a note from the Skeptic that warns them about their choices of citizens. After being interviewed each of the four men goes berserk and endangers people. Superman is forced to intercede, until the men are taken into custody.

Lois learns that the notes from the Skeptic have come from her typewriter. She waits in the office until she sees janitor Charlie Frost at her desk. Frost reveals that the Planet had discredited his brother, so he used hate-gas to discredit those men honored by the newspaper. Superman comes to the rescue, saving Lois, and apprehending Frost. The men affected by the gas are then released.
