Synopsis:
Four convicted criminals are scheduled for execution. Before their death sentences can be carried, the men escape. Batman and Robin track down the crooks one-by-one. First Sailor Roggs, who was to be sent to the gas chamber, is caught on a ship being fumigated with cyanide poison. He is killed by the gas.

Next Angles Manson is accidentally hung while fleeing from Batman. Then Careful Kyle, who was to be sent to the electric chair, is electrocuted by electric eels. Finally only Jumpy Peters is left. He avoids guns since he was to face a firing squad. However, his own fears allow Batman to capture him. Jumpy is then returned to prison where he soon meets his end by the firing squad.
