Synopsis:
Rex Mason's powers as Metamorpho are revealed to the world when he prevents a multiple car accident at the race track. Rex is then kidnapped by Karko, a rogue henchman of Simon Stagg, using the Orb of Ra.

Karko delivers Mason to scientist Maxwell Tremaine who attempts to force Metamorpho to repair several experimental weapons. Rex refuses to help, forcing Tremaine to attack using some of the weapons. Simon Stagg, Sapphire, and Java have followed Rex to Tremaine's junkyard. Rex protects them from Tremaine's weapons and eventually overcomes the villain. The weapons are all destroyed, and Simon Stagg recovers the Orb of Ra.
