Synopsis:
Hot Shot, a criminal who needs intense heat to survive, starts a forest fire as a diversion for a robbery. Hawkman sees the fire and tries to help. Though he spots the crooks, they escape his pursuit.

Hawkman believes the gang is responsible for several heat related crimes. When suspicion draws him to a metal factory, he finds the gang again. This time he defeats the gang. Hot Shot becomes accidentally locked inside a cooler. By the time Hawkman gets him out, the cold air has killed the crook.
