Synopsis:
When Stripesy breaks his leg while pursuing a criminal named the Rope, Merry offers to be Sylvester's partner. Sylvester claims that a girl can't fight crime and refuses to let her help. He then goes out in search of the Rope alone.

Merry follows the Star-Spangled Kid in a costume of her own. When she finds the Kid has been knocked out by the Rope, she uses a variety of gimmick inventions to stop the crook. Sylvester thinks she was just lucky.
