This story is continued from Forever People #5.
The Forever People are revealed to have been born on Earth in this story.
Maya is revealed to be a Mother Box. After she dies she reforms as Beautiful Dreamer's unborn child.
Synopsis:
The Forever People arrive at the home of Donald Bergman to protect him from agents of the Dark. Once the Dark has been dispelled Donnie's memories of the group return. He is then reunited with his wife. The Dark wanted to corrupt him in order to use his writing to inspire more followers.
After Donnie is safe, Maya brings the Forever People to a hilltop where she explains that Apokolips and New Genesis are but pieces in a battle between Order and Chaos. The time of Kali Yuga, when the world stand at the brink of final darkness. The Forever People were created to fight the Dark. Maya also tells them that they were all born on Earth and brought to New Genesis as babies by Highfather.
After gifting the group with a new Super-Cycle, Maya reveals her true nature to the team. She is actually their Mother Box brought to life. After stopping a last ditch attack by Fyre, Maya is destroyed. Her essence then takes residence as an unborn child in the womb of Beautiful Dreamer.
