Comments:
This story is continued from New Gods #19 and continues in New Gods #21.

Synopsis:
Yuga Khan returns to Apokolips. First he imprisoned Darkseid, then he kills DeSaad in revenge for the murder of his wife Heggra. On New Genesis, Highfather and Commander Gideon are opposed on the proper course of action. Gideon defies Izaya and leads the army of New Genesis to Apokolips. Although the army is able to meet the forces of Apokolips in fine standing, the Commander realizes too late, that Yuga Khan's power is too great, and he is killed.

Meanwhile, Orion escapes from his prison on Apokolips. He seeks out Darkseid while Yuga Khan is occupied elsewhere. Darkseid then claims that the way to defeat Khan is for Orion to kill his own father.
