Synopsis:
While photographing historical events in the past, Rip Hunter and his crew are forced to stop to recharge the batteries of the Time Sphere. While waiting for the batteries to recharge, the group is captured by Cleopatra's army. Rip pretends to have been sent by Caesar, then helps Cleopatra regain her throne.
Cleopatra double-crosses Rip and uses a magic amulet to convince him he is the real Caesar. Jeff, Bonnie, and Corky are forced to flee, where they meet Ptolemy, Cleopatra's brother. Ptolemy helps Jeff disguise himself. Jeff then removes the amulet from Rip's neck, breaking the spell.
Rip and the others then help Ptolemy against Cleopatra. They achieve peace between the siblings, getting them to agree on sharing the throne. Then the real Caesar hears of Cleopatra's schemes and plans to invade. Rip kidnaps Caesar and turns him over to Cleopatra. She uses her feminine influence on Caesar to stop his invasion. Rip and the others then return to their own time period.
